I am officially on vacation from work. December gets chaotic/ridiculously busy at El Day Job, so I haven’t had much time for illustration these last few weeks. I am celebrating vacation time by descending on a Chinese buffet tomorrow and eating until they are forced to name it after me in recognition of my majesty. I am celebrating today by posting up a shirt design at Goodjoe.
I initially wanted to play with the “sword in the stone” and “the pen is mightier than the sword” ideas. I started adding more medieval/Arthurian elements as I went along.
Anyway! It took me a little poking to fully grasp Goodjoe’s setup, but I am really appreciating how easy they make it to upload detail shots of your design. I hope to partake in more of their weekly contests in the future.
